Kat — 68. Training with me since 65.

"I never really liked to exercise, to start with… when my daughter approached me to come to the gym, I was quite resistant. Slowly, Jay gave me that confidence — he is very patient with me, going through step by step, every baby step. He has never failed to support me: he demonstrates, guides me along very patiently, and he has that consistency to make me feel very comfortable."

"Over the three years I've trained with Jay, I've lost the kilos — and gained mobility… the dead hangs helped me a lot with the pain in my shoulder and in my back."

"For anyone who is interested in coming to the gym, I would definitely recommend my trainer Jay. What he has is that patience — and being a certified trainer, I have more confidence that he is guiding everybody the right way."

"I came to the gym after 60, which is definitely late — health is not something that you should procrastinate. It's something you can't buy with money. Health is wealth."

Her story — office professional.

"I was trying to motivate myself with home workouts, but that didn't really work out — I was not that disciplined. And I didn't really enjoy previous PT attempts; it felt quite aimless in the gym sometimes. Compared to other PTs, Jay tries to find different ways to connect with his clients — more than I had experienced before."

"My strength has improved — I've toned up quite a lot… I was able to start doing different kinds of activities I wouldn't necessarily have tried before, like tennis. My physical resilience increased — and my emotional resilience too."

"Who should train with Jay? People who want to increase their baseline level of fitness. Strength training builds a baseline you don't get from other sports — without it, I think it's difficult to reach a holistic state of wellness."
